Bio
MariaPoler has been doing pole & aerial fitness for 5 1/2 years. After an 18-year career in softball from player to umpire to private instructor, she decided to pursue fitness in new facets. She spent 5 years as a competitive powerlifter and even set a national record in powerlifting under ADFPF in 2018. Now, she has placed in multiple competitions hosted by Pole Sport Organization and continues to learn while teaching online with Fuerte Aerial Fitness. While her time as a powerlifter overlapped with the beginning of her aerial fitness career, she now focuses solely on strengthening, conditioning, and physical well-being using pole, aerial hoop, and mat training. Maria is most passionate about helping her fellow mamas to pursue a healthy lifestyle without losing sight of what is important--family.
Maria empathizes with those who have busy schedules since she is a mama to a crazy little girl and two pups, maintains a fulltime job as an engineer, studies management and business part-time, works towards various certifications in fitness and health, and makes quality time with her babies and her hubby. She understands time management and incorporates this into her programming. Maria also has a heart for struggling mamas as she went through a traumatic birthing process and over a year of treatment for postpartum depression, so her coaching emphasizes the importance of taking time to address fitness & health, encouraging the use of multiple professionals from multiple health industries--ie physical, mental, emotional, etc.--as needed.
MariaPoler is currently under the mentorship of BodyByFran Training and uses the PoleStrong method in all instruction and coaching.
